Statistics show that most of us will need some degree of long term care
at some point in our lives. Yet many people choose to take a "wait and
see" approach when it comes to planning for care in the future. This
can produce undue financial and emotional strain on families who are
forced to make decisions during times of crisis.
At the
Alliance Community, you can enjoy peace of mind about the future,
because you know you're surrounded by some of the finest facilities and
most caring nursing staff available. Whatever your need for care may be
- and whenever it may come - you can be assured that the Alliance
Community is there to meet your needs, while helping you maintain the
highest degree of independence possible.

Assisted Living
At the
Center for Assisted Living, residents enjoy a private or semi-private
apartment. A family-like staff gives a helping hand whenever it is
needed. This can include assistance with dining, medication, bathing,
dressing, or other activities of daily living. And while residents are
free to enjoy the amenities throughout the entire community, the Center
for Assisted Living also has its own activity program and dining room,
specifically tailored to the population. The assurance of on-site
medical care also gives peace of mind. Through Christian fellowship,
mutual care, and assuring support, residents enjoy a greatly enhanced
quality of life.
Center for Health Care
Since 1968, the Center for Health Care has been providing the finest
skilled nursing care to the residents of the Alliance Community and
surrounding areas. With a recent expansion, the Center now has 130 new
beds, providing a balanced palette of programs to meet the needs of
today's senior population:
- Skilled Nursing Care remains a hallmark of our
service. Our caring staff is on a 24-hour-a-day mission to provide
quality care to all residents with observation, medication
administration, treatments, counseling and family services, assistance
with activities of daily living (bathing, eating, grooming, etc.),
assistance with mobility, specially-tailored activity programs,
spiritual services, and more. Also, several levels
of accommodations are available.
- Restorative and Rehabilitative Care gets residents
well and gets them back to living independently. Promoting personal
independence and increasing functional ability and sufficiency, these
programs include physical therapies, occupational therapies, speech
therapies, pain management, and other outpatient services.
- Subacute Care, with its own 20-bed unit, provides
specialized treatment with highly-trained personnel. Residents
recovering from a stroke or surgery, residents needing cardiac care,
residents with IV therapy or pain management programs can all benefit
from the residency at the Center for Health Care.
- Dementia/Alzheimer's Care requires a special touch,
as any family member or caregiver can tell you. Secure and private,
this specialty unit (located within the Center for Health Care)
promotes autonomy, safety, quality of life, and as high a degree of
independence as possible. A large outdoor courtyard, gazebo, and
wandering paths allow for enriching experiences outdoors, while a
specially-trained staff plan programs to motivate residents and
encourage socialization. Family and friends are also essentially
involved in participating in their loved one's treatment.
Most importantly, the Alliance Community promotes spiritual well-being,
in addition to physical and mental well-being. The Alliance Community
chaplains, along with the employees, promote a loving Christian
environment in all facilities, meeting the spiritual needs of residents
and family members.
